Persistency, optimism and getting things done are key themes in my life. As manager operations at Volta, I get lots of opportunities to put them into practice. Every day is different and has many wonderful aspects. I regard it as a privilege to get into contact with so many inspiring people and organisations. It’s important to enjoy this, but I’m not the kind of person who will dwell on it for long. Our many clients are entitled to attention from me and from the consultants with whom I work closely. Finding the best solution in each situation, fulfilling the interests of all parties concerned, gives me great energy and satisfaction. Volta’s key values play a strong, recurring role in my work: being an objective, yet engaged ‘outsider’, who understands the environment and the content and always keeps an eye on the human dimension while providing a high standard of service.
